Registered Nurse - Float Pool - Critical Care - Full Time

About the role

Promotes and restores patients' health through assessment, planning, and evaluation of quality care. Collaborates with physicians and multidisciplinary teams, provides support to patients, families, and visitors, and educates on health topics. Embody the organization's mission, vision, and values across various shifts, including days, nights, and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Complete the nursing process for assigned patients
• Ensure compliance with policies and procedures
• Offer patient teaching and education on health topics
• Support a positive care environment

Qualifications

• Current New York State RN licensure
• Minimum one year of experience in Emergency Department and/or Intensive Care Unit

Preferred qualifications

• BLS certification
• BSN or higher degree
• Additional experience beyond the minimum requirement
