About the Role

The Registered RN is a professional caregiver who, as a member of a multidisciplinary health care team, assumes responsibility and accountability for a group of patients for a designated time frame. The RN supervises and provides care to these patients utilizing the nursing process, including the therapeutic use of self. Responsibilities include following established policies and procedures, communicating openly with internal customers and supervisors, and providing excellent customer service interfacing well with all levels of staff, management, and physicians. Responsibilities

• Assume responsibility and accountability for a group of patients for a designated time frame.
• Supervise and provide care to patients utilizing the nursing process, including the therapeutic use of self.
• Follow established policies and procedures.
• Communicate openly with internal customers and supervisors.
• Provide excellent customer service interfacing with all levels of staff, management, and physicians.

• Perform other duties as required.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of acute care experience, with at least one of these years in the specialty area in which you are applying.
• Graduate of an NLN accredited School of Nursing.
• Current NJ-RN License (Registered Nurse).
• Current NJ-BLS Certification (Basic Life Support).
• Current NJ-CNOR (Certified Nurse, Operating Room) preferred.
• Certain specialties may require advanced certification (e.g., ACLS, NALS, PALS).

Schedule

Full-time position with required hours: 7 pm - 7 am, including weekends and holidays.
