About the role
The Float Pool RN supports Med Surg, ED, and Long Term Care units at Allen County Regional Hospital and Anderson County Hospital.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate competency across all assigned areas.
- Function as both a bedside nurse and clinical resource nurse.
- Ensure staffing needs are met across both day and night shifts.
- Utilize the nursing process.
- Perform patient care, delegate tasks, and supervise other patient care staff.
- Coordinate the plan of care for a group of assigned patients and consult with other members of the health care team.
- Demonstrate proficiency and abide by policies, rules, guidelines, and procedures.
Requirements
- Applicable Experience: Less than 1 year
- Basic Life Support - American Heart Association or Red Cross
- Registered Nurse - Various
- Associate Degree
