About the role

The Kahn 3 Medical Stepdown Fellowship is designed for experienced RNs looking to enhance their high acuity skills in a supportive environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintains accurate, complete health care records and reports.
• Administers medications to patients and monitors for side effects and reactions.
• Prescribes assistive medical devices and related treatments.
• Makes assessments, implements, plans, or evaluates patient nursing care plans with the healthcare team.
• Monitors, reports, and records symptoms or changes in patient conditions.
• Records patient vital signs and medical information.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program.
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse.
• BLS certification.
• 2 years of Acute Care Nursing Experience.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in nursing, Master’s degree in nursing or related field, ACLS certification.
