Registered Nurse Extended Care

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to provide compassionate, quality care on a 12-hour dayshift in a residential setting. This role involves active engagement with residents, staff supervision, and adherence to regulatory standards in a warm, resident-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and document resident care in collaboration with families and interdisciplinary teams.
• Coordinate discharge activities, medication administration, wound care, and follow-up appointments.
• Supervise and evaluate CNA staff, delegate tasks appropriately, and ensure compliance with CMS and Medicare regulations.
• Maintain technical competence in medication and IV administration, and accurately document resident responses and outcomes.
• Prioritize daily care plans, communicate with physicians, and deliver care with compassion.
• Engage residents in activities and incorporate their preferences into care delivery.

Requirements

• ASN from an accredited program required; BSN preferred.
• Current Montana RN license and BLS certification endorsed by the American Heart Association.
• Strong communication skills, manual dexterity, and physical ability to lift, move, and assist residents and equipment.
• Ability to quickly assess and respond to emergency situations and operate complex equipment.
