Location & Schedule
- Location: Mease Countryside Hospital, 3231 N. McMullen Booth Rd, Safety Harbor, FL
- Status: Full Time
- Shift: 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM
- Every other weekend requirement
- On Call: No
- Always in person
Requirements
- RN (Registered Nurse) License
- Diploma, Associate’s, Bachelor's or Higher in Nursing
- 1 year registered nurse ER experience
- BLS certification with the American Red Cross or American Heart Association
- ACLS certification with the American Heart Association
- PALS certification with the American Heart Association
Responsibilities & Skills
- Work in a hospital setting and independently care for a group of patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards
- Delegate appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team
- Organize, prioritize, and update plan of care in collaboration with patients, family, and significant others
- Identify patients at risk for injury regarding diagnosis, medication, procedure, age, etc., and prepare room environment
- Monitor, record, and update care team on patient vitals and assessments
- Identify sudden or subtle changes in a patient’s medical condition
- Respond to medical emergencies for critical patients
- Use high emotional intelligence to create a positive patient care experience, including simplifying medical terminology and concepts for the patient
- Demonstrate professional accountability and development
