About the role
Every day, our Registered Nurses deliver a level of excellence and compassionate care to our patients in the ER.
Responsibilities
- Works in a hospital setting and independently cares for a group of patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards
- Delegates appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team
- Organizes and prioritizes and updates plan of care in collaboration with patients, family and significant others
- Identifies patients at risk for injury regarding diagnosis, medication, procedure, age, etc., and prepares room environment
- Maintains a safe and clean environment for patients and staff
- Monitor, record, and update care team on patient vitals and assessments. Identifying sudden or subtle changes in a patient’s medical condition
- Responds to medical emergencies for critical patients
- High emotional intelligence to create a positive patient care experience that includes simplifying medical terminology and concepts to the patient

Requirements
- RN (Registered Nurse)
- Licenses: Diploma, Associate’s, Bachelor's or Higher in Nursing
- Experience: 1 year registered nurse ER experience
- Certifications: BLS certification with the American Red Cross or American Heart Association, ACLS certification with the American Heart Association, PALS certification with the American Heart Association

Qualifications
- Licenses: RN (Registered Nurse)
- Licenses: Diploma, Associate’s, Bachelor's or Higher in Nursing
- Experience: 1 year registered nurse ER experience
- Certifications: BLS certification with the American Red Cross or American Heart Association, ACLS certification with the American Heart Association, PALS certification with the American Heart Association

Shift: 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM
Occasional weekend
