- Managing shift operations and monitoring care quality under the Nurse Manager's guidance.
- Serving as a liaison, updating leadership on unit needs and major occurrences.
- Providing first-level supervision, patient assignments, clinical support, and problem-solving.
- Mentoring new staff and participating in performance reviews.
- Assessing patient/family needs, developing care plans, and evaluating care delivery to meet diverse needs.
- Delegating care appropriately to optimize patient outcomes.
- Adhering to the Kansas Nurse Practice Act.
Qualifications
- 2-year degree and current Kansas RN licensure.
- BLS certification within 14 days of hire and ACLS certification (unit specific).
- Preferred: 4-year degree and healthcare experience.
