Registered Nurse - ER

Role Overview: The Emergency Room (ER) Charge Registered Nurse is a full-time, day shift position responsible for managing the overall shift and ensuring high-quality patient care in a fast-paced ER setting. Key Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate nursing staff, assign patients, and provide clinical support.Serve as a liaison to communicate major occurrences and unit needs to management.Mentor new staff and participate in performance evaluations.Assess patient and family needs, develop care plans, and evaluate care delivery.Delegate tasks to optimize patient outcomes, ensuring adherence to the Kansas Nurse Practice Act. Qualifications & Skills 2-year degree and current Kansas RN licensure.BLS certification within 14 days of hire; ACLS certification as required for the unit.Preferred: 4-year degree and experience in similar healthcare settings.
