Registered Nurse - Endoscopy

Overview

Full-time days shift.

Responsibilities

• Directly accountable to the OR Charge Nurse and Director of Surgical Services.
• Responsible for delivery of direct and indirect patient care for Medical-Surgical Outpatients and/or Inpatients receiving surgical and/or invasive procedures through the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation for adolescents, adults, and older adults.
• Communicates with physicians, co-workers, and/or nursing director about the patient’s clinical condition, including results of diagnostic studies and symptomatology.
• Able to respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment.
• Works with other departments and co-workers to provide continuous, quality patient care, efficient patient flow, and unit maintenance and organization.
• Responsible for adherence to regulations, standards, and hospital or unit policies and procedures.
• Participates in Performance Improvement activities, unit meetings, and in-services.
• Acts as a resource for other personnel as appropriate.

Requirements

• Current and valid state RN License.
• Current BCLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• ACLS certification within 30 days of hire and maintain current.
• Minimum of one year experience in an acute care or outpatient surgery setting or G.I. lab.
• Completed Moderate Sedation competency within 30 days of hire.

Pay

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $35.35 to $53.58 per hour. The exact starting compensation will be determined based on factors such as skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials, and licensure.
