About the role
Seeking experienced Registered Nurses (RNs) for a vital Emergency Department role in a fast‑paced, 20‑bed rural ED serving diverse acuity levels. The position offers a commitment bonus of $20,000 for experienced RNs and $10,000 for new graduates, self‑scheduling, and a supportive team culture emphasizing communication, collaboration, and quality care.
Responsibilities
- Performing comprehensive patient assessments and identifying care needs
- Initiating appropriate nursing interventions based on assessments
- Providing age- and condition-specific nursing care
- Completing accurate documentation supporting medical necessity
- Developing, implementing, and revising interdisciplinary care plans
Requirements
- Current RN license in NC or multi-state (compact)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within 90 days
- Associate's degree in nursing required; Bachelor's preferred
- Minimum of one year RN experience in Emergency Department
