Registered Nurse - Emergency Services

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Flight Nurse to join a team of air transportation professionals dedicated to safely transporting patients to and from medical facilities and scene call work. The role emphasizes patient assessment, critical care management, and maintaining safety standards within a well-equipped aircraft environment. The role demands professionalism, reliability, and commitment to safety and service excellence in a high-stakes environment.

Responsibilities

• Assessing patient conditions to determine appropriate care and interventions
• Supporting physicians’ orders and managing critically ill or injured adult and pediatric patients
• Ensuring aircraft safety, cleanliness, and equipment readiness
• Communicating effectively with air and ground teams, dispatch, and partners
• Maintaining accurate documentation and adhering to safety protocols
• Keeping certifications and training current

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years’ experience in Emergency or Adult Critical Care as a licensed RN
• Current RN license in the relevant states
• EMT and Trauma Certifications as required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP (NRP provided during training)
• Certified Registered Flight Nurse (CFRN) within 24 months of hire
