About the role
The Salem Hospital Emergency Team is an integral part of the nursing division. This Team is interprofessional, representing expert nurses, physicians, mid-levels, and support personnel, providing compassionate and personalized care to every patient who comes through our doors.
Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of the nursing process and the delivery of patient and family-centered care.
- Request and use governing and administrative resources, technological and support systems, and multidisciplinary clinical experts necessary to manage and deliver quality, cost-effective patient care.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the Emergency Department's patient care model, focusing on high-quality, efficient care and reducing unnecessary wait times.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care and support.
Requirements
- 2 years acute care RN experience preferred.
- ED experience preferred.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Valid/Current license to practice as a RN in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
- BLS required.
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- ACLS preferred.
Qualifications
- 36 hours per week, rotating every third weekend, every other holiday.
