Registered Nurse – Emergency Room - Travel - (ER RN)

About the role

The Emergency Department (ED) sees approximately 137-140 visits daily, ranging from neonates to geriatrics. Key metrics include meeting standards for STEMI, stroke, and sepsis treatments.

Responsibilities

• Administer Tenectaplase for stroke patients as a clot-busting medication.
• Collaborate with Critical Care Techs to assist with patient care tasks.
• Complete all necessary tasks independently, including collecting blood cultures, administering antibiotics, and providing IV fluids within the first hour of a patient's arrival.
• Work closely with the team to maintain open communication channels.

Requirements

• Registered Nurse with at least 1 year and 6 months of ER experience.
• A current, active, unrestricted license in good standing.
• Experience with dialysis, IV insertion, tele-interpreting, and ventilator management preferred.

Qualifications

Must have a valid Georgia or compact license.

Skills

Knowledge of emergency room protocols, critical thinking skills, and ability to work under pressure are essential.

Pay

$2021.00 - $2124.00 per diem rate.

Schedule

Available shifts include 12-hour days.
