Registered Nurse – Emergency Room - Travel - (ER RN)

Responsibilities

• Provides care to patients and families that progresses them towards self-identified, holistic, and individualized goals.
• Performs the nursing process through individualized assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of safe, therapeutic, efficient care for patients.
• Promotes quality outcomes.
• Collaborates or seeks additional resources as needed in the management of complex, new/unusual, or other high-risk clinical situations.
• Serves as patient and family advocate in ensuring excellent and satisfying care.
• Acts as the direct and indirect provider of safe and therapeutic care for an assigned group of patients, with care individualized and age-specific using the nursing process.

Requirements

• 3 years of Registered Nurse, ER experience
• Active California RN license
• BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications (copies required)
• NIH Stroke Scale certification (copy required)
• SSN and date of birth required
• CPI certification (must have completed an 8-hour in-person course)
• Travel experience required
• Trauma experience required
• Experience in a 50+ bed Emergency Department unit

Preferred Qualifications

• EPIC charting experience
