About the role

Provides comprehensive patient care in a clinical setting, collaborating with physicians, leadership, and multidisciplinary teams to improve outcomes. Utilizes critical thinking, nursing processes, and compassionate care to ensure patient dignity, autonomy, and health restoration. Performs general nursing duties, patient education, and prioritization, adapting care to individual needs.

Responsibilities

• Conducts accurate patient assessments based on medical conditions.
• Administers medications as prescribed, ensuring safety and accuracy.
• Delivers age-appropriate care, including basic self-care activities.
• Develops and evaluates patient and family teaching plans, addressing learning needs.
• Utilizes nursing knowledge to perform treatments and procedures.
• Collaborates effectively with the healthcare team for optimal patient care.
• Assists physicians with procedures and performs technical tasks.
• Addresses psychosocial needs, coordinating with social services for discharge planning.
• Practices cost-effectively, managing supplies and resources responsibly.
• Prioritizes and delivers safe, efficient patient care, minimizing risks.
• Engages in ongoing professional development and lifelong learning.

Qualifications & Skills

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• Computer literacy.
• RN licensure and BLS certification within 14 days of hire.
• Preferred certifications include ACLS/PALS.
