Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Role: Registered Nurse in a Freestanding Emergency Room. Responsibilities: Provide high-quality, patient-centered care by assessing, performing, teaching, and managing patient needs. Collaborate with medical staff to deliver individualized care, manage pain, perform procedures, document care, respond promptly to patient requests, and educate patients and families about medical conditions, treatments, and lifestyle modifications. Ensure safety, cultural sensitivity, and meet the specific needs of diverse patient populations. Rotate across care areas as competency permits, supporting overall clinical and departmental performance. Assess and manage patient pain and care needsPerform medical procedures and monitor patient statusDocument care accurately and timelyRespond proactively to patient requestsEducate patients and families on conditions, medications, and follow-up care Qualifications: Current Colorado RN license, BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP certifications, graduate of an accredited nursing program (BSN preferred), and at least two years ER experience. Additional certifications like TNCC and ENPC are required within six months of hire.
