Registered Nurse- Emergency Dept. (Per Diem)
About the Role
The Registered Nurse (RN) manages individualized patient care by promoting and restoring patients' health through the nursing process. Responsibilities include collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary team members, providing physical and psychological support to patients, friends, and families, and supervising assigned team members. The RN reports to their Nurse Manager and ultimately, the Chief Nursing Officer.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing
- Current New Hampshire RN license
- BLS and ACLS certification (required)
- PALS certification (preferred)
- Proficient oral and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills
- Current clinical experience preferred
- 2+ years of prior RN Emergency Department (ED) experience required

Orientation & Travel
All new hires must attend a mandatory three-day orientation at Weeks Medical Center in Lancaster, NH. This orientation covers essential training, compliance, and organizational culture. Attendance on all three days is required for onboarding completion. If Weeks Medical Center is not your designated home base, you will be eligible for travel reimbursement per NCH’s standard travel policy.
