About the Role
The Registered Nurse (RN) manages individualized patient care by promoting and restoring patients' health through the nursing process. Responsibilities include collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary team members, providing physical and psychological support to patients, friends, and families, and supervising assigned team members. The RN reports to their Nurse Manager and ultimately, the Chief Nursing Officer.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing
- Current New Hampshire RN license
- BLS and ACLS certifications (required)
- PALS certification (preferred)
- Proficient oral and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills
- Current clinical experience (preferred)
- 2+ years of prior RN Emergency Department (ED) experience (required)

Orientation & Onboarding
All new hires are required to attend a mandatory three-day orientation at Weeks Medical Center in Lancaster, NH. This orientation covers essential training, compliance information, and an introduction to organizational culture. Attendance on all three days is required for onboarding completion. If Weeks Medical Center is not your designated home base, you will be eligible for travel reimbursement in accordance with NCH’s standard travel policy.
