About the role

The Registered Nurse (RN) manages individualized patient care by promoting and restoring patients' health through the nursing process; collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary team members; providing physical and psychological support to patients, friends, and families; and supervising assigned team members. The RN reports to their Nurse Manager and ultimately, the Chief Nursing Officer.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing
  • Current New Hampshire RN license
  • BLS and ACLS certifications (required)
  • PALS certification (preferred)
  • Proficient oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and time-management skills
  • 2+ years of prior RN Emergency Department experience (required)
  • Current clinical experience (preferred)

Weeks Medical Center (WMC) is a 25-bed critical-access hospital offering medical, surgical, and intensive-care services. Outpatient services include cardiac and physical rehabilitation, a fully-staffed oncology department, 24-hour emergency care, a fully equipped laboratory, and an extensive radiology department. NHC delivers integrated patient care through community hospitals, specialty clinics, and home-health and hospice services.

Benefits

  • Commencement bonus of $7,500: 50% payable at or around hire date, remaining 50% after six months of continuous employment

Onboarding & logistics

  • All new hires must attend a mandatory three-day orientation at Weeks Medical Center in Lancaster, NH
  • If WMC is not your designated home base, you will be eligible for travel reimbursement under the standard travel policy
