About the Role
Provides direct nursing care in acute care hospitals within the Emergency Department, following established policies and protocols.
Responsibilities
- Implement, monitor, and document patient care plans
- Coordinate multidisciplinary care
- Execute physician and nursing orders
- Manage patient discharge planning with the healthcare team
- Assess patient conditions and deliver quality care
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals
- Support patient discharge processes
Requirements
- Licensed Registered Nurse with a diploma from an accredited nursing program
- At least one year of RN experience in an acute care setting
- Certifications: BLS and Advanced Life Support within specified timeframes
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (preferred)
