Registered Nurse - Emergency Department (Part Time)

About the role

Provide high-quality, fast-paced care in a Level 1 Trauma Center Emergency Department, handling diverse cases from minor injuries to complex medical emergencies, trauma, stroke, and cardiac events. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians and advanced practice providers, to deliver evidence-based, life-saving interventions and rapid patient stabilization.

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor patients using advanced clinical judgment
• Administer treatments and interventions promptly
• Participate in patient care coordination and decision-making
• Mentor and support peers, contributing to a collaborative team environment
• Practice at the top of licensure, utilizing clinical expertise

Qualifications and Skills

• Graduate of an accredited RN program
• Current RN license (state or compact) and BLS certification
• Experience in emergency or high-acuity settings preferred
• Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and teamwork skills
• Compassion, professionalism, positive attitude, and patient advocacy
