Bi-weekly Hours: 72.00
Shift: 7p-7a; Rotating weekends, Rotating holidays

About the role

Join our Cleveland Heights Emergency Department! The unit serves acutely ill pediatric to adult patients, including a behavioral health patient population. The department has 20 beds and has received Acute Stroke Ready recognition.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient assessments and triage
• IV insertion, blood draws, and Foley catheter insertion
• Apply time management, critical thinking, and delegation skills

• Paramedics
• Patient Care Nursing Assistants (PCNAs)
• Providers

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing (or a program seeking accreditation)
• Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Ohio
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS (or obtained within 90 days of hire)
• Current PALS and NRP certifications (or obtained within 6 months of hire)
• Current TNCC certification (or obtained within 1 year of hire)
• PRN must possess current certifications upon hire

Preferred Qualifications

• BSN
• Professional Certification recognized by the Magnet Association
