Registered Nurse - Emergency Department

About the role

The Registered Nurse (RN) provides comprehensive patient care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating treatment, utilizing evidence-based practices, technology, and team coordination.

Responsibilities

• Recognize and address patients' physical and psychological needs
• Develop individualized care plans
• Oversee care delivered by LPNs and CNAs
• Participate in clinical team conferences

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
• Current Montana RN license
• BLS certification
• At least one year of relevant experience preferred
• Nurses with certain experience levels may be exempt from BSN requirements

Skills

• Strong assessment and communication skills
• Manual dexterity and physical stamina, including lifting and moving patients and equipment
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle emergency situations
• Accurate documentation

Schedule

Full-time position in the Emergency Department with variable shifts, including nights and weekends.
