About the role
Seeking a registered nurse leader to oversee unit staffing, ensure quality patient care, and collaborate with advanced practice providers.
Responsibilities
- Assigning, educating, monitoring, and evaluating nursing/support staff during shifts.
- Assessing patient care needs and developing appropriate care assignments.
- Evaluating care effectiveness and addressing issues affecting patient outcomes.
- Responding to patient care concerns and providing input on staff development.
- Maintaining safety and performing additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Skills
- Graduate of an accredited nursing school or equivalent licensing.
- At least one year of registered nurse experience.
- Relevant professional licenses and certifications, including BLS and ACLS or equivalent.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, lift, and perform routine patient care tasks.
Additional Requirements
- Ability to communicate effectively via speech and vision.
- Occasional patient lifting and movement.
- Availability for night shifts.
