Registered Nurse - Emergency Department

Role Overview

The Registered Nurse (RN) provides comprehensive patient care in an emergency department setting, utilizing evidence-based practices, technology, and collaborative teamwork.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess: Evaluate patients' physical, social, and psychological status, gathering information from team members, patients, and families.
• Plan: Develop individualized care plans with input from patients and families, including education and follow-up preparations.
• Implement: Coordinate and delegate care to the interdisciplinary team, managing resources effectively while adhering to guidelines and professional standards.
• Evaluate: Monitor patient responses to interventions, adjust care plans accordingly, and ensure optimal outcomes and satisfaction.
• Professionalism: Uphold ethical, legal, and regulatory standards, ensure accurate documentation, and promote the nursing profession.

Qualifications & Skills

• Current RN license
• BLS certification
• Minimum one year of ER experience
• Strong patient care, communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills
• BSN preferred

Physical & Additional Requirements

• Ability to see, hear, and manipulate equipment
• Lift and transport patients
• Stand for extended periods
• Operate a vehicle if necessary

Work Details

Full-time role based in Wheat Ridge, Colorado, with a flexible schedule including mid and night shifts.

Pay

Compensation ranges from $37.45 to $57.29 per hour, depending on experience.
