Registered Nurse - Emergency Department

About the role

Provide patient care in a fast-paced emergency department with flexible scheduling options. Self-schedule shifts, adapt to short-notice staffing needs, and deliver immediate patient care in emergency settings.

Responsibilities

• Self-schedule shifts to meet department needs
• Adapt to short-notice staffing requirements
• Deliver immediate patient care in emergency settings
• Maintain required certifications and licensure
• Meet physical demands including lifting patients and prolonged standing

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (BSN preferred)
• Current RN license in the relevant state or compact license
• Minimum of two years recent bedside RN experience in emergency nursing within the last two years
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS

Skills

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Stand and walk for extended periods
• Perform patient care duties involving reaching, bending, and kneeling
• Epic EMR experience preferred
