About the role
Join the opening team of a new, state-of-the-art Emergency Department serving a growing community.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct and indirect patient care under supervision
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient healthcare needs
- Care for a diverse patient population, from infants to geriatrics
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure quality outcomes
- Maintain a customer-focused approach and support departmental goals
- Deliver nursing care aligned with established standards and guidelines
- Float to comparable units as needed
Requirements
- Current unrestricted RN license
- Emergency Department experience
- Completion of nursing orientation
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required; NRP preferred
- TNCC certification required within one year
- IV therapy competency within one year
- Annual participation in skills fairs and competencies
