About the role
Registered Nurse providing patient-centered, evidence-based clinical care in a hospital setting.
Responsibilities
- Perform nursing processes including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation to ensure individualized patient care.
- Deliver relationship-based care tailored to patient demographics and cultural diversity.
- Partner with patients and families using effective communication methods such as bedside reports and interdisciplinary rounds.
- Maintain current clinical standards and promote safe, quality care through documentation and collaboration.
- Coordinate care across teams, support performance improvement, and participate in research activities.
- Serve as a preceptor or mentor to foster a skilled workforce and a healthy work environment.
- Advocate for evidence-based practices, participate in protocol development, and ensure compliance with policies and regulatory standards.
- Plan proactively for patient care needs, support resource efficiency, and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Associates or Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
- Active RN license (single state or multi-state compact).
- Certifications: BLS, PALS, TNCC, ACLS (all required upon hire or within specified timeframes).
