About the Role
Provides direct nursing care in an Emergency Department equipped with advanced technology and a collaborative team environment.
Responsibilities
- Implement and monitor patient care plans
- Coordinate multidisciplinary care
- Execute physician and nursing orders
- Assess discharge needs
- Adhere to policies and procedures
- Communicate effectively about patient conditions
Qualifications
- Active nursing license from the Alabama Board of Nursing
- Diploma from an accredited nursing program
- Certification in BLS, Advanced Life Support, and PALS (obtained within specified timeframes)
- At least one year of emergency or critical care experience (strongly preferred)
Skills
- Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
- Ability to coordinate care effectively
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with technology such as Tele-ICU
- Background in emergency care (preferred)
