About the role

Responsibilities

• Assigning, educating, and monitoring nursing and support staff
• Assessing patient care needs and developing appropriate care assignments
• Collaborating with advanced practice providers to achieve clinical outcomes
• Evaluating patient care effectiveness and addressing issues impacting outcomes
• Responding to patient care complaints and participating in hiring and staff development
• Performing performance evaluations and contributing to staff training
• Maintaining safety and performing other related duties

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program or equivalent licensing
• Minimum of one year of registered nurse experience
• Valid RN license and current BLS certification; ALS or PALS certification preferred
• Physical stamina for standing, walking, lifting, and patient handling
• Strong communication, assessment, and team collaboration skills

Certifications required vary by state, including BLS, RN licensure, and advanced life support certifications.
