About the role
The Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Room and Float Pool position at Advocate South Suburban Hospital is a .9 time commitment from 11 AM to 11 PM.
Shift
3-12hr shifts/week. Rotating weekends and holidays.
Requirements
- Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
- Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association and ACLS
- Must possess at least 2 years of telemetry, critical care, Cath Lab, or PACU nursing experience
Qualifications
- Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
- Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association and ACLS
- Must possess at least 2 years of telemetry, critical care, Cath Lab, or PACU nursing experience

Where You Will Work
The unit has 30 beds with 6 low acuity spaces. As a nurse in this department, you will assist the ER team area only.
We’re Looking For
- Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
- Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association and ACLS
- Must possess at minimum 2 years telemetry, critical care, Cath Lab, or PACU nursing experience

- As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
