About the role
The Home Therapy Registered Nurse provides patient training and ongoing support for home dialysis modalities, including peritoneal and hemodialysis.
Responsibilities
- Conduct home visits to assess patient and home environment
- Document care in electronic records
- Ensure compliance with regulations
- Emergency preparedness and response
- Manage inventory of supplies
- Participate in quality improvement activities
- Administer medications
- Participate in on-call rotations
- Deliver high-quality patient care and ensure safety
- Support program growth with flexible staffing locations and hours
Requirements
- Current RN license
- At least 12 months of clinical experience
- Minimum 3 months of experience in the specific dialysis modality
- CPR certification
- Strong communication skills
- Computer proficiency
- Ability to meet state practice requirements
Prior dialysis care experience is preferred.
