Responsibilities
- Patient training
- Conducting home visits
- Assessing home environments
- Documenting care
- Participating in quality improvement activities
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations
- Manage emergency procedures
- Cook supplies and water sampling for home hemodialysis
- Provide ongoing monitoring
- Communicate with physicians
- Administer medications as needed
- Perform on-call nursing services
- Maintain accurate documentation
- Support infection control measures
Qualifications
- Current RN license in applicable state, with at least 12 months of clinical experience and 3 months in dialysis modality (or 6 months in some states)
- CPR certification
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Completion of orientation and ongoing competency demonstrations required
