About the role
Responsible for providing nursing care in a detention facility setting.
Responsibilities
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Monitor patients' health status and report significant changes.
- Perform routine patient assessments and document findings.
- Coordinate with other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
- Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state.
- At least 2 years of relevant clinical experience.
Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good physical stamina and ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Skills
- Proficient in electronic medical records systems.
- Knowledge of mental health and behavioral health care principles.
