About the role
As a Registered Nurse Supervisor, you will provide clinical support and collaborate with the Program Manager, reporting to the Director of Nursing in all aspects of behavioral health. The supervisor will act as charge nurse during their respective shift, administering primary care for adolescent, adult, and geriatric psychiatric patients in response to unit needs.
Responsibilities
- Provide clinical support and leadership in behavioral health settings
- Act as charge nurse during assigned shifts
- Administer primary care for adolescent, adult, and geriatric psychiatric patients
- Maintain current knowledge of regulatory standards
- Demonstrate professionalism in community interactions
- Exhibit courtesy, sensitivity, and strong interpersonal skills
Requirements
- Current Active RN License
- Preferred experience in Behavioral Health Nursing
- Preferred charge/supervisor nurse experience
- Excellent leadership qualities
