Registered Nurse - CVICU

Position Overview Provide specialized nursing care in a 17-bed Cardiovascular ICU, focusing on critically ill patients post-cardiothoracic, vascular, and cardiac procedures.Implement and monitor patient care plans, record and communicate patient conditions, and serve as a primary coordinator for multidisciplinary care.Follow physician and nursing orders, assess patient needs, and coordinate discharge planning with the healthcare team. Qualifications Current licensure as a Registered Nurse from the Alabama Board of Nursing.Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire, and Advanced Life Support (ACLS) within 180 days.Diploma from an accredited nursing program.
