Position Overview Join a busy Cardiovascular ICU (CVICU) providing specialized care to critically ill patients recovering from complex cardiothoracic, vascular, and cardiac procedures. Responsibilities Provide direct nursing care following organizational policies and protocols.Implement and monitor patient care plans, recording and communicating patient conditions.Serve as primary coordinator for multidisciplinary patient care.Follow physician and nursing orders accurately.Assess and coordinate discharge planning with healthcare team members. Qualifications Valid Alabama Registered Nurse license.BLS certification within 30 days of hire.Advanced Life Support certification within 6 months of hire.Diploma from an accredited nursing school required. Skills & Attributes Strong communication, assessment, and coordination skills are essential.
