About the role
Provide direct patient care in a specialized setting requiring complex assessments and interventions.
Responsibilities
- Gather comprehensive patient data from patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Analyze assessment data to determine diagnoses and care needs.
- Collaborate with patients, families, and care teams to set and achieve optimal outcomes.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate personalized care plans using clinical judgment and evidence-based practices.
- Ensure a safe environment and communicate effectively with all stakeholders.
- Maintain current knowledge, contribute to quality improvement, and perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program or equivalent.
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the relevant state.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and additional applicable advanced life support certifications (e.g., PALS, ACLS, ENPC, NRP, TNCC).
- Ability to perform physical tasks including standing, walking, lifting, and data entry.
- Strong communication, clinical judgment, and teamwork skills.
Additional Details
Work in a PRN/per diem capacity across multiple states, adhering to state-specific licensing and certification requirements.
