Registered Nurse - Critical Care Unit

Seeking a registered nurse for a PRN night shift position in a medical-surgical setting, with experience in ICU required. Responsibilities Include Providing direct nursing care following organizational policies, procedures, and protocols.Applying standards of medical-surgical practice to enhance patient care and quality of life.Developing and implementing individualized care plans through the nursing process.Assessing patients holistically, considering physical, cultural, social, and spiritual factors.Collaborating with patients, families, and healthcare team members to coordinate care and set goals.Communicating effectively and serving as a patient advocate.Educating patients and families on health maintenance and comfort measures.Mentoring colleagues and promoting a positive work environment.Utilizing evidence-based practices tailored to patient age and clinical needs.Performing point-of-care testing and other assigned duties. Qualifications And Licenses Graduate of an accredited nursing program or equivalent.One year of ICU experience required.Valid RN license in applicable states with BLS certification. Physical demands include: constant movement, lifting, reaching, and sensory awareness. Note: The role involves working in a safe manner, with additional duties as assigned.
