Registered Nurse - Critical Care

About the role

The Registered Nurse provides comprehensive nursing care in the Intensive Care Units, assessing, managing, and coordinating patient treatment using a patient/customer-driven approach.

Responsibilities

• Performs assessments, develops and evaluates individualized care plans
• Administers medications and documents patient responses
• Collaborates with healthcare team members to provide specialized high-risk care
• Manages pain, recognizes abuse, and ensures patient safety through infection control practices
• Communicates effectively with patients and families, ensuring courteous, respectful, and timely service
• Engages in performance improvement, evidence-based practice, and professional development
• Maintains environment safety and collaborates professionally with colleagues
• Demonstrates accountability and adaptability

Key Duties

• Conduct assessments and develop care plans
• Administer treatments and document changes in patient condition
• Provide patient and family education
• Ensure safety and infection control

Requirements

• Valid RN license in relevant states
• BLS certification
• Minimum one year of RN experience
