About the Role
The Registered Nurse assesses, manages, and provides nursing care in the Intensive Care Units, ensuring patient-centered planning and coordination with healthcare team members.
Responsibilities
- Performs comprehensive, age-appropriate assessments, documents findings, and evaluates patient needs.
- Develops, implements, and modifies individualized care plans incorporating evidence-based practices.
- Delivers nursing interventions, administers medications, monitors patient responses, and coordinates referrals and discharge planning.
- Recognizes changes in patient condition, takes appropriate actions, and communicates effectively with the team and families.
- Provides specialized high-risk patient care, including restraint and pain management, while adhering to safety and infection control protocols.
- Demonstrates accountability through ongoing professional development, compliance with policies, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Maintains professional relationships, promotes a respectful work environment, and delivers exceptional service with compassion and confidentiality.
Requirements
- Valid RN license.
- At least one year of RN experience.
