Registered Nurse - Critical Care

Role Overview Provides professional nursing care in ICU and Cardiac Neuro ICU units, adhering to hospital policies and Illinois Nurse Practice Act. Employs critical thinking to assess patient conditions, recognize changes, plan and evaluate care, monitor progress, and document observations. Delegates appropriate tasks to staff and collaborates as a team member to achieve unit goals. Qualifications & Skills Current Illinois RN license and CPR certification.ACLS certification within six months of employment.2-5 years of critical care nursing experience.Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Nursing; if holding an Associate Degree, must obtain a BSN within five years. Responsibilities Assess patients, recognize changes, and plan care accordingly.Monitor patient progress and document observations.Delegate tasks appropriately and collaborate with healthcare team. Preferred Attributes: Critical care experience, strong assessment and delegation skills, and ability to work flexibly across shifts.
