Registered Nurse - Corrections
About the role
A Registered Nurse (RN) is needed in a Corrections setting. The position offers local or travel contract opportunities, with shifts consisting of 36-hour weeks (3x12) and the ability to float between hospital and jail units with inmates.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to inmates in a corrections setting.
- Work in various units including ICU, ED, MS, and others within the hospital/jail.
- Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and standards.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience in the past 3 years in either Corrections or Hospital Acute Care settings.
- Updated resume.
- Basic Life Support (BLS - AHA or Red Cross).
- Current drivers license (DL).
- Active West Virginia or Compact RN license.
