Registered Nurse - Corrections

Local or travel contract position for a Registered Nurse (RN) in a corrections setting, floating between hospital and jail units with inmates. Location: Salem, VA.

Schedule

• Night shift
• 36-hour work week (3x12)

Pay

$1,814.40 - $2,016.00 weekly. Rate includes taxable hourly pay plus nontaxable stipends (housing and M&IE) converted to an hourly rate based on a 36-hour work week. Overtime may be eligible.

Requirements

• 1 year of experience within the past 3 years in corrections, hospital acute care (ICU, ED, MS, etc.)
• Active Virginia or Compact RN license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA or Red Cross)
• Current driver’s license
• Updated resume
