Registered Nurse - Correctional - $2,311 per week

VyTalent Solutions is seeking a travel nurse for a correctional facility in Des Moines, Washington.

About the role

This is a Government contract position at the South Correctional Entity (SCORE), a psychiatric hospital within a correctional setting. The role is designed for a Registered Nurse with corrections experience, offering an opportunity to provide care in a correctional mental health facility.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients within a correctional mental health facility.
• Administer medications and monitor patient responses.
• Document patient care accurately using the specified charting system.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members during shifts.
• Ensure safety and security protocols are maintained at all times.

Requirements

• No new graduates; corrections experience is required.
• 2 years of experience in the last 5 years, 1 year of experience in the last 3 years, or current experience within the past year.

Pay

Pay range: $2,211.65 - $2,322.23 per week, based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation). Includes a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.

Schedule

• Shift: 18:00 - 06:00 (12 hours).
• Duration: 13 weeks.
• 36 hours per week.
