About the role
Travel nurse Correctional RN position in Chesapeake, Virginia. Start date: October 26, 2026. Duration: 26 weeks. Hours: 40 hours per week. Shifts: 10‑hour days (6 am‑4:30 pm, 4×10) and nights (6:30 pm‑6:30 am, 2×12s + 2×8s). Weekends and holidays are required (VADOC holiday blackout dates apply). Location: Chesapeake, VA.
Requirements
- Active Virginia State RN license or valid compact state license.
- Minimum 1 year of RN experience (clinicals/externships do not count).
- Ability to commit to the full 26‑week contract.
- Availability to work weekends and holidays (VADOC holiday blackout dates apply).
- Updated resume.
- Corrections Skills Checklist.
- AHA BLS certification.
- Two manager references from the past two years.
- Government‑issued ID (front and back).
