Night Shift, 36-hours per week, Every other weekend, Holidays as needed

Contract Length

26 Weeks

Requirements

• 1 year of corrections experience
• Must have at least 2 years of nursing experience
• Valid RN license in Virginia, CPR certification, and correctional nursing experience
• BLS, ACLS, and previous experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients within a correctional setting
• Administer medications and monitor patient health using correctional-specific protocols
• Collaborate effectively with correctional staff and security personnel to ensure safety and compliance
• Apply key skills including crisis intervention, emergency response, and documentation in electronic health records

Qualifications

Local or Traveler friendly – travel reimbursement available

Skills

Preferred: BLS, ACLS, and previous experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems
