Registered Nurse - Correctional - $2,160 per week

VyTalent Solutions is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a travel nursing contract in a juvenile corrections setting in Kinston, North Carolina. This is a Day shift position with a 13-week duration, working 40 hours per week on 8-hour shifts.

Requirements

• 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse
• Qualified applicants MUST have at least 1 year of experience in adolescent, pediatric, school, public health, correctional-juvenile, and/or emergency nursing practice
• Valid Registered Nurse license
• Willing to obtain NC or hold compact state licensure

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to adolescent patients in a juvenile detention setting
• Work independently with direct care staff to ensure patient safety and wellness
• Utilize Electronic Health Records (EHR) and telehealth equipment effectively
• Support the rehabilitation and mental health needs of juvenile patients
• Maintain compliance with facility policies and health regulations
