Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care within a secure juvenile justice environment, following established medical protocols
• Function independently as the facility’s on-site nurse for portions of the shift while coordinating with available support resources
• Collaborate closely with direct care staff to support safe, effective care for juveniles in custody
• Communicate clearly with Central Office Health Services staff and participate in scheduled calls as needed
• Document and coordinate care using basic computer systems and communication tools such as Microsoft Teams or WebEx

Requirements

• Experience in adolescent, pediatric, school, public health, correctional/juvenile, and/or emergency nursing
• Significant independence and comfort working within a secure juvenile justice environment
• Comfort serving as the sole on-site nurse for portions of the shift
• Ability to follow established medical protocols
• Familiarity with Microsoft Teams or WebEx
• Basic computer proficiency

Pay

Pay Range: $2,067.20 - $2,170.56 per week

Schedule

7:00am - 3:30pm, Monday–Friday
